we’ve lost one helluvan artist. i cannot stress enough how much passion lies beneath Amy’s intoxicating voice of wonders. SUCH SOUL. such soul, man. her voice -in itself- is an instrument of pain and woe, of divine beauty, of the senses that lie beneath all of humanity-those which we as humans aim so ardently to express through music but our inhibited ways leave us unable, for these deep emotions can only be portrayed to their fullest through an alluring, stimulating gift of voice. that’s her—one rare pearl, she is. the gifted singers (and musicians in general) who play music are those who exhibit what all of humanity would like to express but cannot due to these findings of being inadequate. she stood for everyone; for our human emotions. just like the great Billie Holiday, with Amy’s voice one could hear the pains and pleasures of being human; one could feel them. what a fucking voice. .very big shame to lose a genius in our time who could so easily open the mind of man with her hypnotic voice alone.
& ONE MORE THING, to those who are against Amy because of her lifestyle, who are you to speak down of her because of her sorrowful addictions which you know nothing of? who knows what lead her to her detrimental downfall. you sure don’t and neither do i (nor will we ever know, for we were never her). .looking at the world for its beauties isn’t the easiest task, and not many can achieve doing so—altering your perception of reality can become a way out for many in a jiffy. it’s difficult to find balance when both heaven and hell exist in our waking life, that’s for sure. all i know is that we’ve lost one talented beauty. that is all. to whoever is reading (if anyone) i’m sorry for my rambling. .but shit, do i love this song and that fucking voice of hers.
